11th Keighley (Cullingworth) Scout Group

Sections, Meetings and Location

11th Keighley (Cullingworth) Scout Group meets at Group Headquarters in the West Yorkshire village of Cullingworth, located approximately 7 miles west of Bradford in the UK. Group Headquarters is at The Dell, Off Greenside Lane, Cullingworth, Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. Visitors should take Dellside Fold from Greenside Lane and then Dellside Gardens off to the left. The entrance to Group Headquarters is the first opening on the right.

Squirrel Scouts, Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts, Explorer Scouts

Cullingworth Scout Group has Squirrel Scout, Beaver Scout, Cub Scout, Scout and Explorer Scout Sections and admits boys and girls to all of these. The age groups are shown below.

Squirrel Scouts: 4 to 6 years
Beaver Scouts: 6 to 8 years
Cub Scouts: 8 to 10.5 years
Scouts: 10.5 to 14 years
Explorer Scouts: 14 to 18 years

However, in general, the young people will be encouraged to move when they are ready. They can move earlier or later if they need a new challenge or need a little more time to complete their badge-work, or simply to coincide with their friends. It is hoped that in this way all members will be able to get more out of their Scouting experience.

The Scout Network (18 to 25 years) is catered for outside the Group but please feel free to contact Cullingworth's Group Scout Leader if you are interested.
